Jon wasn't feeling well today, and was actually wanting pho (I am not going to explain what this is again... if you missed it the first time, you can look at my first obsessive post about it here) so I got a take-out order of it tonight. Mmmmm. When I called I was told they were out of limes, so I had to make a stop at Publix to get my own. Dinner was delicious!
After that bowl of soy sauce and lime juice, I needed something sweet so I decided to make some oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. I think this was the first time I've ever had absolutely everything for a recipe in my pantry and was able to bake on a whim. It was fun. The recipe said that it would make 48 cookies, but I only got 27 out of it. I knew I had trouble with the concept of portion size!
