Our Sunday

Church this morning. Great message from Dad - just what I needed to hear today.

After church, Sarah and Justin invited us, as well as Mom and Dad, over for a quick little lunch. Justin made bagels, eggs, and sausage. Delicious! Thanks, Justin!

We also got to see a little bit of what Sarah's life is like now with 3 young children... you holding the baby with two girls crawling all over you, singing and talking in high-pitched voices. Hilarious to me, but I'm sure it's exhausting. What fun, though!

And below are some pictures of Uncle Jon and Ezra time. Ezra was laying contendly until I starting taking pictures.

"Stop, Aunt Katie!"

"I'm serious! Uncle Jon, make her stop!"

"Oh... do I really look that silly?"

"I think I'll stop then."

He's such a cutie. I want to just eat him up.

I also made Jon a carrot cake today for Valentine's Day. I don't feel like my cakes are ever very pretty. I don't really have enough patience for fully smoothing out the frosting. Hopefully it tastes prettier than it looks!

Until next time, weekend!

The Kiddos

Today was a busy day of church, grocery shopping, cooking, visiting Sarah and family to bring them dinner, and more grocery shopping. We didn't get home for the day until about 8:30 or so. Whew!

My favorite part of the day was, of course, visiting with the kiddos.

Anna the butterfly.

Kathryn the princess with her baby brother.

Do cuter kids exist? I don't think so!

Sundays

What a lovely, lazy Sunday.

We went to church this morning, of course. Dad taught from John 10:22-42. I love the description of the relationship between sheep and their Shepherd. How wonderfully reassuring!

Here are Uncle Jon and Kathryn at church, playing with Grandpa's birthday balloon (his birthday is tomorrow). Sorry, Anna - Uncle Jon vetoed the picture with you in it. Not because of you - he says he looks even sillier in that one than in this one!

After church we went to Panera, then home where we proceeded to take a 2 hour nap. We are currently waiting for our pizza to be delivered for dinner.

What a perfect Sunday!

"My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father's hand." John 10:27-29
