So I'm sick. Again. It doesn't seem to be as bad as last time, though, so I am thankful. I've been sneezing what seems like every 5 or 10 minutes, and every time I sneeze I shoot snot out my nose. It's entertaining when I don't have a tissue on hand. My nose is so sore!
I decided to try to go without taking any medicine. I survived my first day. Other than eating better, I have also cut out all caffeine and almost all sugary foods so I figured, why not take it one step further and try some all-natural cold remedies!
I did some research and found out that ginger is great for colds and flues (these are the claims, at least) so I found a recipe for ginger tea. After boiling the ginger and letting it simmer, I put in some lemon juice, honey, and a pinch of cayenne pepper.

I wouldn't say I'm healed yet, but it was soothing, tasty, and cleared me up for a bit! I even plan on making some more before I go to bed.
