Back to reality!

Today was my first day back at school after my 2 week break.

Today's picture is of my take-home bag that goes back and forth with me daily, usually filled to the brim with things I should do at home (grade things, cut things, staple things, write things, make things cute, etc.) Sometimes all of it gets done, usually some of it gets done, and every once in awhile nothing even leaves the bag.

Oh, and those are the shoes I put on only when we walk through the hallway. I change into much comfier shoes in the classroom. I feel proud of myself when people see me at the end of the day, walking around upright without limping in those things!
