Today I got to spend a little bit of time with my favorite 4 year old.
(Pardon the blurry photo. It is actually the best one I was able to get. She doesn't sit still for long!)
I remember the day she was born just like it was yesterday. The love I felt for her at first sight was just amazing. I remember thinking that the love I felt for her was how I imagined the love a parent feels for their child would be, and if I loved my niece with that much love, then I must have no idea what it's like when it is your very own. I'm happy with the love I have for my two nieces. It is just amazing!
She is turning into such a little lady. Quite the conversationalist, as well. She is also an amazing hugger, a great singer, and the smartest kid around. Really. She's a genius. I am qualified to make this assessment!
I love you, Kathryn! You will always be my most favorite Kathryn, forever!
I beg to differ on the smartest kid around....um hello. We must not forget about Justin....lol. Of course I am partial.
